Education

As the Children Trust Michigan’s designated agency, the prevention of child abuse and neglect for Washtenaw County, our mission is to stop victimization before it happens. We offer educational services and programs to all walks of life and our community; children, teens, parents, community members, and youth-serving professionals throughout Washtenaw County are our partners in the journey toward a safer tomorrow.

Collaboration

WACC works closely with dozens of school and community partners across Washtenaw County to offer our educational and awareness programs. We believe there is strength in numbers, and the more we work together, the better our children and families will be in the future. Children benefit from strong programs, coordinated efforts, and a collaborative community.

Support

WACC provides support to children and families in the form of concrete resources, such as new pack-and-play cribs and diapers for new mothers, and educational resources, such as our Lunch and Lecture series for social workers and teachers. WACC strongly believes supportive services and a helping hand can dramatically change the trajectory for children and families for the better.
